Automation Technician
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Automation Technician to join our Sydney based Service team in a dynamic hands-on role where two days are never the same.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Automation Technician to join our Sydney based Service team in a dynamic hands-on role where two days are never the same.
Position Summary:
You will play a key role in delivering responsive field service support across NSW troubleshooting issues, keeping critical infrastructure running and working closely with clients to solve problems when they matter most.
You will also contribute to planned maintenance, installations, and project commissioning, giving you a well-rounded mix of reactive and proactive work.
In this role you will:
Deliver responsive service and technical support, including remote diagnostics and on-site fault finding.
Attend breakdowns and provide practical, high-quality solutions in the field.
Plan and perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
Support electrical installations and assist with commissioning works.
Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit service team.
Participate in a rotating after hours on-call roster (with support and structure in place).
Build strong client relationships through clear communication and excellent service delivery.
Skills and Experience:
A current NSW Electrical Licence is essential.
Proven experience in industrial electrical installation and commissioning.
Strong troubleshooting skills using PLC/SCADA platforms (e.g. Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Citect, Ignition).
A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality work.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Unrestricted Australian Work Rights is essential.
Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control is desirable but not essential.
