Service Delivery Lead

Position Summary:
The Service Delivery Lead is senior role supporting the state Service Manager to achieve strategic and operational objectives within the SAGE Service business in Victoria..
This is a permanent full-time role for an individual with appropriate engineering qualification or verifiable industrial automation experience. It is desirable that you have experience in troubleshooting using online PLC and SCADA tools across some of major platforms including Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Schneider and more.
In this role you will:
- Have an understanding of PMBOK methods and practices.
- Proven experience in Risk management and mitigation in contractual agreements on projects
- Support the business through assisting in the establishment and delivery of Service Projects (corrective maintenance, enhancements and minor works) and service contract works.
- Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of services projects and service contracts.
- Plan, organise and assign work.
- Manage and review work performance.
- Manage budgets and expenditure for their assigned works.
- Build effective customer relationships, identify new opportunities and actively participate in the sales process and development of Service Project and Service Contract bids that best position SAGE to win work.
- Deliver the contracted works by developing detailed (WBS) program of work then scheduling and assigning well-defined activities to individual resources within the service teams and / or external suppliers as required.
- Provides leadership and mentoring to project assigned or a dedicated assigned team of technicians for the delivery of the engaged works.
- Taking accountability for the service team's performance in achieving project schedule, quality, resourcing and budget targets.
Skills and Experience
- Appropriate Engineering or trade qualifications or verifiable industry experience.
- Minimum ten years proven experience within the automation industry.
- Verifiable experience working in a project environment.
- Experience in finance and cost management.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Australian driver's licence
- Must be an Australian Citizen and should be able to obtain and maintain a National Police History Check & Baseline Clearance
