Join our Adelaide team as a Regional Engineering Manager (REM) and showcase your engineering management, team leadership and workforce planning capability.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering Services, the REM is responsible for the management and optimisation of engineering resources. The role will collaborate closely with the relevant Program Managers in Delivery to ensure appropriate engineering capability and capacity to successfully execute the portfolio of work within South Australia.

This role demands strong leadership and management skills with a key focus in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across the engineering team and operations.

In this role you will:

• Lead and manage a technical team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects.

• Be accountable for the team’s performance in achieving schedule, quality and budget targets.

• Be proactive with managing engineering compliance and risk management.

• Monitor engineering output and overall performance against delivery requirements.

• Provide ongoing mentoring and development.

• Be part of the South Australian leadership team ensuring the growth and success of the SAGE business.

Skills and Experience:

• You will have an appropriate Engineering degree combined with verifiable experience, ideally within industrial automation and/or control system engineering.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering leadership, managing teams and delivering complex engineering projects.

• You will have demonstrable knowledge of good engineering practices and continuous improvement.

• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement with the ability to lead and influence outcomes.

• Developing and delivering on the business strategy to take advantage of a changing customer landscape.
