Join our airport-based team as a Systems Engineer and showcase your advanced knowledge and experience of electrical engineering, automation and control systems.

You will be accountable for successfully and competently delivering complex engineering solutions for projects within requirements, schedule and budget. You will be confident in liaising directly with the client in developing and refining scopes of work as needed.

In this role you will:

• Be based at Sydney Airport (Mascot)

• Design and deliver technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the project.

• Identify and mitigate technical risk, escalating high risk items to management.

• Manage and promptly resolve issues as they arise, escalating if and when necessary.

• Manage changes to the technical outcomes of the project.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with your team and client, ensuring a high level of collaboration at all times.

• May be required to work occasional night-shifts.

Skills and Experience:

• You will have an appropriate Electrical Engineering qualification combined with at least 5 years of verifiable experience working within the automation industry.

• You must havestrong experience of Siemens TIA Portal.

• Experience with Ignition and MODBUS TCP/RTU will also be highly regarded.

• You will have excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders and understand their requirements.

• To comply with the Airport Authority, applicants must be Permanent Residents or Australian Citizens.
